Frequently asked questions
How do I get a licence?
Send a request and we will reply with the price and an invoice. After payment, send us the Machine ID from the program’s activation window and we will issue a code; the code is checked offline. Moving to another computer works the same way: new Machine ID, new code.
Do you support SDI and NDI?
There is no built-in SDI or NDI support. A capture card with a DirectShow driver connects to Transcoder through the Input Device Capture module. Playout accepts IP sources only (SRT, UDP, RTMP, RTSP, HLS); for NDI output, use the free OBS and DistroAV.
Can I update the program while on air?
Updates install only with your consent; modules stop for about a minute. Installation does not start while playout is on air.
Does the program show ads?
Only Transcoder Free and the Prompter trial show a banner at the top of the window. It does not affect the on-air output.
