EasyCaster MPEG-TS Player: a stream on screen in seconds
A player for broadcast and network engineers. It opens a stream by its address and shows the picture, sound, bitrate and parameters. For UDP and SRT you can choose the network interface; in an MPTS, the program and the audio track.

Good to know
- The player shows and measures a stream; it does not record it.
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. No separate .NET install is needed.
- For multicast, the network must deliver the stream to the computer (IGMP). When Windows asks, allow the player through the firewall.
- Installs for the current user without administrator rights. On first start it removes the old 2.1 version itself; settings and playlists are kept.
Questions
A UDP stream does not open
Check the address (for example udp://239.0.0.1:1234), choose the “mpegts udp” format and the network interface the stream comes through. If Windows asked about the firewall and access was not allowed, allow ECPlayer.exe in the firewall settings.
How to open SRT
Address srt://server:port, format “mpegts srt”. If the stream has a password, add ?passphrase=… to the address.
