Privacy policy
Version of 3 November 2026.
Virtualni Telekomunikatsii LLC (ТОВ «ВІРТУАЛЬНІ ТЕЛЕКОМУНІКАЦІЇ», brand Live-TV Service), EDRPOU code 43158087, 23 Volodymyra Vysotskoho St., apt. 117, Odesa 65123, Ukraine. We are the controller of personal data for easycaster.net and the EasyCaster programs. For questions about your data, write to support@easycaster.net.
1. What we collect
Requests. Name, email or Telegram, the text of the request. The form adds the product and page, the language, UTM tags and the address of the page you came from. If you came from a program’s licence window, the Machine ID is added: the identifier of the computer the code is issued for. The server adds a hash of the IP address, the country and browser details; only the hash is stored with the request, not the address itself.
Site visits. Cloudflare and our servers process the IP address and browser details to show the page and protect the site. Visit statistics are collected by Umami (on our servers) and Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies and only in aggregate. Program downloads are counted without the IP: product, system, version, country. Server logs with IP addresses are kept for 14 days.
The EasyCaster programs send over the internet:
- update checks and the updates themselves — from our storage in Cloudflare R2;
- anonymous usage and update statistics with a random installation identifier: version, system, language, edition, a daily “running” mark, update events. Turned off in the Transcoder and Prompter settings and in the player's About;
- Transcoder and Prompter: a service session record (version, system) at every start and error reports — to Sentry. A report contains the error description, program and system versions and a log of recent events. Transcoder also sends the Machine ID, the computer name, module command lines with passwords hidden and a window screenshot with password and token fields painted over. Prompter sends a random identifier, without script text, file names or screenshots. Reports cannot yet be turned off in the settings;
- a banner request: Transcoder in every edition (it shows the banner only in Free), Prompter only in the trial;
- a request for the computer’s public IP address to ipify, icanhazip or ifconfig.me (Transcoder);
- EasyCaster Alarm sends us nothing. It asks the third-party service siren.pp.ua for the alert state (that service sees the computer’s IP address), checks the connection with a ping to 8.8.8.8 (Google) and sends webhooks to the addresses you set;
- EasyCaster MPEG-TS Player sends only the update check and anonymous statistics (switched off in About). It sends us no error reports, no banner request and none of the stream addresses you open;
- EasyCaster Stream Player for Android sends us nothing. Stream addresses stay on the device; Google Play checks for and installs updates;
- notifications, webhooks, backups and streams — to the addresses you set up yourself.
The programs do not send us the content of your streams, files or prompter texts.
2. Why and on what basis
- To reply to a request, send a price, issue a licence — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, art. 11(1)(3); GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- To protect the site, count statistics, update the programs and fix their errors — our legitimate interest in making reliable programs and protecting the site (art. 11(1)(6); art. 6(1)(f)). You may object to this processing.
- To tell customers about new versions and changes to the terms — legitimate interest; you can opt out through the link in the email.
- To keep accounting records if you bought a licence — a legal requirement (art. 11(1)(5); art. 6(1)(c)).
We do not sell data, use it for advertising or make automated decisions about you. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person; if the check blocks you, email us.
3. Who else processes data
| Who | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | site delivery and protection, form check, mail forwarding, site statistics; update storage and program statistics | USA, global network |
| Resend | request emails and confirmations | USA |
| Google (Gmail) | company mail | USA |
| Telegram | notifying staff on duty of a request; correspondence if you gave a Telegram contact | UAE, British Virgin Islands; servers in several countries |
| Sentry | site and program errors | Germany |
| OVHcloud and a data centre in Ukraine | servers for the site and the request database | Germany, Ukraine |
Transfers outside Ukraine and the EU, including to the USA, are needed to reply to your request and deliver updates. Providers are bound by contracts to protect data (Law, art. 29(4); EU standard contractual clauses), and Cloudflare, Resend and Google are also certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We disclose data to public authorities only when the law expressly requires it.
4. How long we keep data
- requests and correspondence — 3 years from the last contact;
- IP address hash — 90 days;
- error reports — up to 90 days;
- server logs with IP addresses — 14 days;
- the Resend email log — under the terms of the Resend plan;
- contract documents — as long as accounting law requires.
5. Cookies
Functional only: NEXT_LOCALE — the language you chose (1 year); ec_lang_hint — you closed the language hint (1 year). Cloudflare Turnstile may set a technical cookie to check the form. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no consent banner. The site theme follows your system setting.
6. Your rights
You can find out which of your data we hold and get a copy, including in a machine-readable format; correct it; ask us to delete it or restrict processing; object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@easycaster.net: we will confirm receipt within 10 working days and fulfil the request free of charge within 30 days. You can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (ombudsman.gov.ua) or to a court, and in the EU to the data protection authority of your country.
7. How we protect data
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Requests are stored in a database on our servers, accessible only to staff who need them to reply. Servers can be accessed only with keys over a secure network. The database is backed up regularly. We will inform you of an incident that threatens your rights.
8. Other
The site is intended for professionals and companies, not for children under 16. We will announce significant changes to this policy on the site in advance; the version date is at the top of the page. The policy is published in Ukrainian, English and Russian; if the versions differ, the Ukrainian version prevails.
